My Proposal

I have read a statement from Oliver Pell saying.. “ In a world where virtually all data of any importance is held on a computer system the necessity of cryptography cannot be disputed” with this statement I asked “ how??????”.

As I go along with my reading about Oliver Pell’s essay he emphasizes that cryptography is all about increasing the level of privacy of individuals and groups.

Upon reading the whole essay I had formulated some questions and problem statements:

1. How cryptography (this different encryption algorithm) had helped increased the level of privacy of individuals and groups?
Ex. When one is buying products in the internet using their credit card number.
How secure the number is not being intercepted and used against them.

2. determine unto what extent does technology had contributed to make this cryptosystems stronger
3. Know what are those different cryptanalyst attack or “code breaking attacks” and how strong is the defense of this different encryption algorithm against those attacks.
4. What are the vulnerabilities of this different encryption algorithm and cryptanalysis?
5. What are those different technologies today that use cryptography?
6. contribution of technology to cryptography and vice versa

About The Diagram

As you can see in the illustration above, the research topic’s scope would focus on different fields that encryption has an impact with, especially to the modern technology and also maybe to e-commerce as well. On how cryptography has been useful to this fields.

In particular the study would deal also with these modern cryptographic features. Based on my readings there are some encryption algorithm that is being used today in different fields of technology, most common are the DES (data encryption standard), AES (advanced encryption standard), RSA ( Rivest-shamir-adleman algorithm), IDEA (International Data Encryption Algorithm). In line with this, I would like to have an in depth study on how this different algorithm performs ciphering, the mathematical operations involve with it.

Also how will this algorithm affect to the speed of performance and determine its level of performance on securing data in the field of networking over the internet, database management, pin codes security (ATM, credit cards), online businesses and any related fields.

Also, vulnerabilities of these algorithms will be of concern. On what are the weaknesses that possibly any code breaking attacks would take an advantage. If certain technology is using such algorithm, how strong is there defense against cryptanalyst?

Just as I Promise

"The Life I dreamed of.. "

My life has never been this interesting ever before, since i started to reach in college. During my childhood days i use to love challenges and any activities that would make me feel that i am human...

I've been to sports.. taekwondo, long run, badminton and many others.. I even manage to be an officer in our CAT class during high school.. ( isn't obvious when you look at me now) hehehe..

In academics.. im proud to say that i belong to the upper section in our school or what we call the network class.. that's remarkable! hehehehe....

They told me before that high school life is the best part of the journey..
"ang hindi makakalimutang sandali"... that's what they say..
i said.. "hmm.. let's see..."...

When the time i reach college.. i met new friends of different species of course..
Some are quite interesting to be with.. Some are.. Well..

As of this moment.. still i cant believe that i have reach this year in this university (University Of Southeastern Philippines), specifically,. in this college Institute of Computing.. WOW!!! 4th Year Ireg ko... isn't that amazing..???? (dili ni plastic!) For me this is truly an achievement.. imagine of all the first years in my batch who were enrolled in this course, few are given the chance to reach this stage.. well it needs a lot of guts and sweat and BLOODY COURAGE...

Of all the discouragement and pretty failures i had experience.. this is truly the life i dreamed of..
life full of lessons..

i cried a lot.. but still so happy that i manage to withstand all those downs.. making me a braver woman!.. ( that's priceless)

Just as I promise.. never to give up.. fight till God tell me to stop..
